History

Downtown Saratoga Springs New York has always been known for its great food, drink, and entertainment. Dining out in downtown Saratoga is, well, a tradition. A new addition to this mix is Brindisi's Restaurant and Bar located at 390 Broadway. Louis Brindisi and his wife Barbara purchased the Restaurant in August of 2000 and it officially opened as Brindisi's on Thanksgiving of the same year. Louis, an attorney in Utica, New York has a long background in the hospitality industry. His parents owned a Brindisi's in Old Forge, N.Y. and he owned Grimaldi's in the 1980's.

Brindisi's Restaurant has rapidly grown to be one of the premier dining establishments in Saratoga Springs, New York - which is not an easy task to accomplish.

Saratoga Springs, and especially its downtown district, is so unique and historic, like no place in the country. It has a very unique style, and we wanted to complement that. My dad envisioned opening the prettiest bar in Saratoga where the experience is like going back in time; great food to nourish the body and atmosphere to soothe the soul. This process came full-front with a major renovation in the Spring of 2001 when a "1930's New York City-style look" took shape.  And the food well, ah! the food. It's first class with many unique homemade specialties and sauces including sausage from Dino's in Utica and the cheesecake is from world-famous Manny's, also in Utica.
